It's a big village. Dun get lost, m'kay?

So at this supply village called Kasasagi Town...

I ended up getting arrested by the police! It turned out okay, though. I escape and find Inuyasha and the others.

And this is where I find out about Kagura...

(* note - That cracks me up. When you're visiting this village, you get left alone for a while. I was like, "HEY! They're leaving me?!" o.O)

And we kicked her butt!

With Inuyasha's new Bakuryuuha able to lash back at anyone dealing out magic attacks, and my new Shikigami skills with Kagome and Shippou, we were able to whip some youkai ass here. Woohoo!!

The gang's all here and ready to party

After we left the supply town, we headed back to Kaede-obaa-chan's village for some rest. And that's where I met Kagome's two other friends, Sango-chan and Miroku-sama.

(* note - I just noticed this while playing, the character does refer to Sango as "Sango-chan" and Miroku as "Miroku-sama." She'll also refer to Kagome as "Kagome-chan.")

He's cute, but... just a little... forward.

Miroku asked me if I wanted to bear a child for him!!!

So my friends are a half-youkai boy, a demon-exterminator (who seems a bit stand-offish with me at this point), a monk who hits on every girl he sees, and a girl from the modern world.

...but despite all that...

(* note - Yes, if you play as the girl character, Miroku really DOES pop his infamous question to you. Hehehe.)

I think I'm going to be all right!

And today I spent some time with Miroku. See, even HE has a kind heart despite being a little... weird. If Kagome-chan trusts him, so do I.

Ah yes... you know, I think part of the fun of this game isn't exactly the story itself. Well, again, the actual story isn't all that evident so far. Basically, at this point you're still learning about the characters and the world. I think the most fun so far has been getting to MEET all the characters. Talk about fanservice moments. But hey, I didn't get this game because I thought it would be totally mind-boggling in terms of gameplay. Although, to be honest, even the gameplay has been surprisingly fun. :D I'm not regretting it at ALL.

Anyhow - in Kasasagi, the supply town, it WILL be a little easy to get lost, but it's not that hard to figure out. Once you pass the shop and go into the area that begins to look like a maze, keep walking to the right until you see a person standing in the intersection. He'll tell you that in order to meet Jii-chan, you need to go up. This is a hint. If you keep walking forward or go down, you'll eventually find that you're going in circles. Go up, and you'll meet "jii-chan." I'm not sure if you HAVE to talk to him, but I did anyway. He wonders there "baa-chan" is. Go past him, up two more screens, and you'll end up at the gates to a house. I also think there's a way you can bypass the maze altogether, as well. But in case you end up in there and get lost, that's the way out. XD

Following this, you'll have a few encounters, your character will get arrested, but when you break out of prison, you end up going back to the house after the others hear about "Kagura" and get suspicious. A few more fights, and then Kagura. She's the next boss battle. ^_^

From here the plot starts to get a little more interesting, when you meet a strange masked character who seems to be in league with Kagura.

After this, you go back to Kaede's Village, and the rest of the gang joins the party! I tell ya, that was probably the highlight of this particular session of Juso. Aside from getting my first Bakuryuuha, and seeing Kagura's sprite, that is... :D
