This review is for the Japanese version of "Inuyasha: Ougi-Ranbu." I'm not intending for it to be an instruction manual or walkthrough of the game; it's more like me just jotting down random thoughts and other observations about the game. There will be "spoilers" (if you can call them spoilers) and other images that may reveal game secrets. So just a fair warning. ^_^

Fight #1 (Battle Mode):
Inuyasha/Kagome vs. Sesshoumaru/Kagura
"Sibling Rivalry At Its Finest"

It's almost like a Springer episode... ^_^

What better than a little two-on-two asskicking in an old, dilapidated temple that's ready to come crashing down on your head?

That's what Inuyasha, Kagome, Sesshoumaru, and Kagura figured this afternoon. Had to have the boys team up with their respective girls and have a go at each other.

Double Punch Sparkly Goodness!!

After a little bit of running around with swords and nearly taking out a few eyes, limbs, and other body parts, Inu and Kag laid the smackdown on both Sesshoumaru and Kagura in this sparkly screen of pretty pwnage

Kagome giving Sesshoumaru the wonderful uppercut to the left gives me a particular sense of satisfaction!!

WATCH ME MAKE MORE SPARKLY STUFF!!

I guess Sesshoumaru had enough of my kicking his ass, because shortly after that, he pulled out his ougi move, the Souryuuha.

Kagome can really fly when smacked hard enough. XD

Brotherly Love :)

Ah, and here's the boys doing what they do best. Beating the living snot out of each other, using claws, fists, and swordage.

Both of the girls actually got themselves KO-ed in this round, so it ended in a one-on-one Inuyasha vs. Sesshoumaru dogfight. Literally. Lots of screaming, yelling, and flying fluffy things!!

And in the end...

After a lot of "I'm telling dad you're not playing fair!" "Oh shut up, you little spoiled brat!" the boys finally settled matters in the only way they knew how.

Inuyasha gave Sesshoumaru a glorious Kaze no Kizu (which the guy actually threw himself into, it was very lovely), and...

Inuyasha claims bictoly! :D
