*Note - I initially translated Chapter 331 while I was on a trip to LA, and therefore, it's not as detailed as I would like it to have been. I mainly only translated the dialogue and gave key scenes for effect.

(Lots and lots of rats surround him,)

Sango and everyone will be sucked in…

(CLOSEUP of the zushi. An arrow has been shot from somewhere, and is

now sticking out of it)

INUYASHA: A purifying arrow?

*hama no ya

MIROKU: The magic barrier has disappeared. Break the zushi, quickly!

INUYASHA: (hitting the zushi with Tessaiga) …Daaahh!

MIROKU: The rats are…

SHIPPOU: K-Kagome.

(The rats are disappearing, as if burning away.)

KAGOME: The rats are burning away…

The zushi was broken.

INUYASHA: Kikyou…

(Shot of Kikyou walking away from the scene. Inuyasha just looks after her a bit.)

(thinking) Kikyou…

MIROKU: Sango…

INUYASHA: !

(Shot of Kirara, standing over Sango and Kohaku, who are lying on the ground, injured.)

These wounds were caused… because of me. (for my sake…)

SANGO: Uh…

Kohaku…

KOHAKU: !

SANGO: Kohaku… Are you okay…?

KOHAKU: (thinking) Ane-ue…

SANGO: A….

Kohaku?

MIROKU: The poison bees… (saimuyshou)

(Kohaku is drawn into a dark ball of energy.... presumably Naraku's)

(Hakudoushi's head is now floating next to Kohaku)

HAKUDOUSHI: What is that woman (to you)? Kohaku?

Why did she protect you?

KOHAKU: I don’t know.

(thinking) Hakudoushi… saw that?

Ane-ue…

I don’t want my sister to suffer like this any longer.

If I don’t defeat Naraku immediately…

(Back to Sango and the others. Sango is looking up at where

Kohaku has disappeared once again...)

SANGO: Kohaku!

MIROKU: Sango…

KAGOME: Sango-chan.

(SCENE CHANGE. Inuyasha and Kagome are sitting in front

of a cabin, cooking something over a fire. Shippou is looking

towards the cabin...)

SHIPPOU: Will Sango be alright?

The rats were really able to give her some horrible bites.

INUYASHA: Hr body will be fine.

Since she has good strength for a human.

KAGOME: But aside from that, Kohaku-kun’s involvement

with the shrine was a shock.

(INSIDE the cabin, Sango is lying on a futon. Miroku is tending to her wounds a bit.)

MIROKU: Sango. Are your wounds painful?

SANGO: (not looking at him) …… What Kohaku did… was unforgiveable.

MIROKU: Sango…

SANGO: The rats destroyed many at the village.

And it’s not just that…

(thinking back to a previous scene of Kohaku being mauled by the shrine rats.)

When Kohaku was fighting the rats…

My heart became crushed.

Then when I knew that boy was safe…

There was relief, from the bottom of my heart.

SANGO: (Back to the present scene.)

What can I do…?

I can’t hate Kohaku…

MIROKU: Sango…

That’s okay.

It’s not necessary to force yourself to hate him.

SANGO: But…

After this… it's...

MIROKU: (thinking) You blame for yourself for not being able to hate your little brother?

(to Sango)

Sango…

Do you regret protecting Kohaku?

at a skull from the village. Yummy, isn’t it?)

KIKYOU: Naraku…
