Guren no Houraijima Goodies

This movie has grown to be my favorite (not entirely sure why), and when I saw it in 2004, I was able to get a hold of several things that were available here during its roadshow in Japan.

Soundtrack

Again, we revisit the work of Kaoru Wada. Most of the soundtrack brings back familiar character themes and battle music that we're all familiar with from the series. There are a few new tracks and themes written especially for the movie, and a lot of the music has been given a bit of a "Guren no Houraijima" flavor. Most noticeable (and my favorite) of the new scores written for the movie are the hanyou children's song, "Tamaokuri no Uta," sung by Asagi in the film. A recurring theme in the movie that is both sad and mysterious at the same time.
