3. EAR-TWEAK ARTWORK QUESTIONS

Q: What programs do you use in your CG artwork? * UPDATE - 8/24/05 *

A: For almost all of the CG drawings, I list which graphics programs I used to color the art under the information section of the picture. The two programs I am most fond of are Adobe's Photoshop 7, and Portal Graphic's OpenCanvas 4.

Q: May I host some of your images (ie. fanart) on my website? * UPDATE - 8/1/05 *

A: No. I have allowed a few people to do so in the past, but as there have been more and more people have been trying to claim my art as their own, and have even gone as far as to try to use my identity by re-posting my artwork, from now on I will have to decline any requests for people who want to re-host my images.

Q: Who drew the fan art on your website?

A: All of the fan-art is my own. If fan-art has appeared on the "ramen" section of this website, I drew it. The two names that appear on the artwork, "Kuro" and "Sato," are both me. Kuro is the screenname I go by online (I've been going by that screenname for so long, it's hard to give it up, y'know... heh-heh), and "Sato" is my real last name. And yes, the kanji I use to sign some of my pieces is my last name written in Japanese.

Q: Where are the images on your website from?

A: It depends on what images you mean. Basically every image on this website has been either drawn (in the case of original fanart), scanned (in the case of the manga and other clippings), or screencapped (in the case of the anime and games) by myself. The same goes for the sound clips. Those have all been pulled from my DVDs and CDs for your enjoyment. As such, I do ask that you please respect my original work, as well as my bandwidth.

Q: Can I commission you for artwork? Will you draw a picture of my charater for me?

A: Not at the moment. I just don't have the time, so I can't promise anyone images in a timely manner. At the time, I also can only do trades or collaborations on a very limited basis. Not all work I do will be featured on ear-tweak, and I may put it up on my DeviantArt Account instead.

Q: Where do the sketches that introduce each manga chapter go once the next week's chapter is posted?

A: I've been thinking of making a gallery for those images, but just haven't had the time to put a page together for them yet. I had no idea there were so many folks who wanted to see an archive of those!! Thanks for the interest. ^_^
