Heh, well... Inuyasha withdrawals kinda hit this week, with no new episode OR manga chapter. So...

I added a new litte section to the site. This one for just... Inuyasha Insanity. I call it File it Under "Keh!" because... well... I couldn't think of anything better. Ah well.

Odd. The manga translations actually aren't supposed to even BE the main site. In fact... it's kinda not even supposed to be a site at all! Heh-heh... at least, not yet. But I just keep adding more. Eventually I'll get the "real" site up soon. Whatever it turns out to be. Aren't little pet projects FUN!? o_O!

Heh-heh... well, Tenka Hadou No Ken did better than I thought... according to this site, it came in at #3 for its opening weekend, behind Last Samurai and Finding Nemo. Woohoo! Good for them, either way. Hopefully I can find some other reports so I won't get this conflicting info. ;)

MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE!

Unfortunately, I woke up this morning with a rather nasty sore throat that hasn't gone away yet, despite drinking hot tea and all sorts of good stuff. Of course, I feel fine for the most part, I just can't really drink/eat without going, "Argh." I guess that cold I had didn't really go away yet... again, if I'm weird in the translation this time around... IT'S THE MEDICINE, I TELLS YOU! THE MEDICINE! Hopefully I'll have translation up by the weekend. ^_^;

Anyway, I also looked at the weekend Japanese box office reports to see how Tenka Hadou no Ken did on its opening weekend. It came in at #9. I still have yet to find the actual gross it made, but I'm guessing somewhere around $500,000 or so. I think what made me laugh the most was at #1 was Tom Cruise's The Last Samurai (awesome movie, BTW... Kuro gives it two enthusiastic thumbs up!)

On the way to getting today's Shonen Sunday, I also picked up my husband's Christmas present (which is actually for both of us). New DVD recorder! I also decided that the new Nausicaa DVD and the Inuyasha Tenka Hadou no Ken soundtrack would be nice for myself.

Well, I found an outlet for the cold-medicine induced insanity. AND IT WASN'T MY UBERLY FUNKY INUYASHA TRANSLATION! AHAHA! Actually, I'm already halfway done with the scanning, but I want to run it by someone first to make sure I don't have any obvious mistranslations. So anyway...

Oh yes, and I can't resist this. With Inuyasha Movie 3 coming out in two days, I'm sitting here with a few previews in hand. At one point, the dad (who I refuse to call anything but "Inu-papa" at this point... heh-heh) says to Sesshoumaru:

INU-PAPA: Sesshoumaru, do you have something to protect?
SESSHOUMARU: Shut up!

...and suddenly this image came to mind. I'm so corrupt. XD

And on another unrelated note... this is just funny to note. About a month ago, I made a comment on Rumic World regarding the Jaken "Grip!" parody, which is part of a larger skit called "SESSHOUMARU: SENGOKU O-TOGI ZOUSHI." So I made a clip from my omake CD and posted it, and strangely enough the clip is making its rounds around the net and found its way back to me! Man, it's a small world. :D

As I work on this week's translation, I just have to say, I hope it's not the medicine talking when I translate this time. *grin* I might end up making Inuaysha say "Hey, look, Moorooroodoodoo has no pants, and neither do you, Kouga!! Ahahahahaha!!" Just kidding.
