Honestly,
I'm not sure how many people still visit Ear-Tweak these days.
I know I haven't been updating it much at all for months now...
almost since the beginning of the year. Yeah, I have a number
of "excuses," most being that I just do not have the
time to dedicate to a fansite anymore after four, five years
of fun.
I'm
sure a lot of people have already known the big fallouts with
this website and some of the main reasons I have found less
enthusiasm for it as time went on. People using fanart to make
bootlegs, people giving me their rotten attitudes... the list
goes on.
It's
been a year since I cut back on the website and I find myself
needing to cut back even more because of growing responsibilities
in real life (none of which I am complaining about at all, otherwise
I wouldn't be doing it!!), but still not wanting to shut the
site down. ^^;
I
will always appreciate the wonderful friends, and communities
I had a chance to feel like I was a part of and contribute to,
and of course there are no regrets about things that happened
because of Inuyasha, or because of Ear-Tweak.
It's
just that, as I've said before...
...things
change over the years. Circumstances change, priorities shift,
and, well... time has a way of making things happen.
To
be honest, I actually thought Inuyasha would be over by now,
so when I started the website, I was thinking, "two, three
years, maybe?" Didn't think it would still be going over
a hundred fifty chapters and four, almost five years later.
^^;
If
only we had a crystal ball to predict things like, "When's
the series gonna end!?" huh? ^_^
So
the truth is, I don't think I'll be able to catch up and translate
the chapters I've been missing over the past few months, and
I can't spend the time to even try catching up. I actually haven't
even been able to read the last month's worth of Inuyasha very
thoroghly (they're all sitting in a pile next to my desk), so
actually, I'm behind on the series myself!!
Well,
I still want to give the last chapters, when they get released,
a full translation and share them, though.
...whenever
that happens. We'll have to see.
