Aoki yasei seems to literally mean "green wilderness," but in a more figurative sense, the word aoki is also used to describe something that is young and unripe, like a fresh, green fruit. So I decided to translate it to "untamed wilderness," (figureatively meaning something like "young, carefree passion") and in the case of aoki yasei no mama de, it best translates as, "left as it is, to be young and wild."

There are also cases where the subject changes from Inuyasha's reference to himself ("I", "ME"), and becomes the plural "WE" or "OUR," even though the subject isn't explicitly stated. This is because at some points in the song, Kagome joins in (as backup), and it would make sense for the subject to become plural.
